Ever use the services of a psychic or fortuneteller? Whether we seek advice or not, most of us get curious about what the future holds at some point in life. If you had lifes' crystal ball would you want to know your future? Why or why not?
The key to the future is wrapped up in the present moment. We are all familiar with the corny cliche, "Life is what you make it." But what is life anyway? Life is, your life is merely the sum of all your experiences. That also is preciously what the future holds.
At the present time how does your life look and feel? Are you stressed, unhappy, no time for family or friends, working at a job(s) you hate? Or does your life feel good, happy at home, surrounded by loving relationships, doing work that makes you feel valued? The feelings of your present moment are the crystal ball to your future.
All of life is experienced through the present moment, therefore the future does not exist. By the time tomorrow, next week, next month come it is now the present moment. We always get to choose how we want to feel about the present moment regardless of our experiences. The funny thing is that good feelings are closely correlated with good experiences and negative feeling are closely correlated with bad experiences. One typically attracts the other.
The future is now, keep it looking bright by paying close attention to feeling good in every present moment. Guard your feelings as if your life depends upon it, it does. Expect your experiences to get better and better and they will.
Your future is bright, stop worrying about life passing you by and start enjoying what you put into it. Remember Life is not about the destination, we all end up at the same place, Life is about the joyous journey.
